WeezyLeaks filed Civil Lawsuit vs. Sacramento City, Mayor Steinberg, Councilmembers, Officials, and Employees of the Office of Cannabis Management for civil violations of the RICO Act.

**Notice**: @Mayor_Steinberg, city officials, and employees are being sued for alleged violations of the RICO Act and other related charges in both their personal and professional capacities. These defendants may face criminal prosecution and liability.

In August and September 2020, the city scheduled a lottery to distribute 10 dispensary permits under the CORE social equity program, restricted to CORE participants and excluding the general public.

In August/September 2020, WeezyLeaks informed Mayor Steinberg and the council that the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) and the City Auditor’s office had rigged the lottery, allowing certain individuals to unlawfully obtain their selection.

In response, and to conceal their fraudulent crimes, Mayor Steinberg, and city officials, canceled the lottery and switched to an RFQ selection process, which they used to manipulate the selection process to favor candidates of their choosing. It is clear that Mayor Steinberg was determined to influence the outcome according to his preferences.

At that time, former CM, now State Senator, Angelique Ashby condemned the lottery cancellation and the subsequent RFQ selection process, (which was rigged to favor preselected candidates), as discriminatory. Senator Ashby, to her credit, was the lone city official to speak out against the cannabis monopoly, and the rigged selection process.

As a result of the RIGGED selection process, CORE applicants were unlawfully denied the right to apply for a dispensary permit because the selections were pre-determined by “conspiracy to defraud,” perpetrated by defendants; who then manipulated the process for their personal benefit.

WL disclosed prior knowledge of the compromised selection process. After extensive investigation, Weezyleaks determined that some recipients were preselected in a “conspiracy to defraud” involving: Mayor Steinberg; city employee, Leyne Milstein; city employee, Davina Smith; convicted felon, Bryan Smith; Former Council Member, Rob Fong (Broker for Ohanna cannabis brand); cannabis brand owner, Mindi Galloway; City Auditor, Jorge Oseguera; equity dispensary permit holder, Malakai Seku Amen, and others to be named.

Due to the rigged selection process by OCM and others, all CORE applicants were unjustly denied the right to apply for the permit as the final candidates were fraudulently selected. Be advised, CORE applicants never had a real and true opportunity to obtain a dispensary permit.

Weezyleaks filed a civil lawsuit against Sacramento City Hall and these defendants on April 4, 2022, for these criminal and corrupt acts. The Superior Court of Sacramento has authorized this lawsuit to proceed to the next phase of prosecution. WeezyLeaks intends to certify this lawsuit as a class action lawsuit, allowing any member of CORE Equity group to join.

Key citizen witnesses to these criminal activities have contacted WL, expressing outrage at the alleged criminal and civil violations committed by Sacramento City officials and employees. If any person, including the named defendants, wish to join, or contribute to this case (potentially separating yourself from prosecution), either monetarily or by providing relevant information leading to the prosecution of these defendants, please contact WL at your earliest convenience.
